Located 30 kms far from Casablanca, Mohammedia (former Fedala) has 150.000 inhabitants and is a pleasant seaside resort, quiet and relaxing, appreciated by Casaouis (inhabitants from Casablanca).
Rather smart, its avenues are bordered with trees and palm trees. Its beautiful beaches (the balneal zone extends on 5 kms) are in the middle of a sheltered bay.
Very attended during the tourist season, it turns to quiet in autumn.
Many restaurants, as well as a casino can be found here, and the amateurs of golf will be able to practise on the 18 holes golf course. Well served by transports, the town can be reached by highway from Casablanca in 20 minutes.
