Living in Rabat

|
The Capital city of the
Kingdom of Morocco is settled since the 12th century
on the mouth of the river Bou Regreg, and faces the city of Sale on
the opposite bank. In spite of its 700.000 inhabitants (1,8
million with Sale), the city is pleasant to live,
rather calm and spaced. From its history, it preserves unique sites
such as its monumental walls and its doors, the Hassan
mosque and its 44 metres height minaret, the mausoleum
Mohamed V, the necropolis of Chellah and its storks, the
kasbah of Oudayas built on a headland and dominating the
Ocean, the medina and its souks. In this flowered city,
can be found many gardens and large avenues bordered with palm trees. Rabat is first of all the political and
administrative center of the country, but also a
commercial and business city. Located
on the seaside, It enjoys a moderate
climate.
